Voo Claim Paid in 19 Days and BP Settlement News

We are getting BP Claims Paid

bp settlement  The VOO Claim came in August 1st and was immediately processed and presented to the DeepWater Horizon Settlement Fund August 8th.

An offer was received on August 27th, the claimant accepted the offer.

The Claimant was notified that all of his economic claims would then be handled under the terms of the DeepWater Horizon Settlement and agreed to that. The claim was handled for a 15% contingency fee.

There were several other BP Claims paid by our groups, they included Business Claims and more VOO Claims.

BP Settlement Calculations Dead On

The processing center that handles the majority of our large loss claims figured a BP Claim for approximately $359,540.00 the offer was for $359,410.00 they were off by $130.00.

We are thrilled with the accuracy of their calculations, this group also only charges 15% and only gets paid when the client gets paid.

Franklin County and Apalachicola Oystermen need Help

The more I have been hearing from Oystermen in Apalachicola, the more concerned I am for their future welfare.

It seems as though there is no new growth on the Winter Bars where they harvest Oysters.

The September 1 Oyster Season is right around the corner, Franklin County Commissioners are looking for help from BP and the EPA immediately.

The dispersant Corexit is most likely to blame, it has also caused a spike in Heart Attacks and Strokes in the Oystermen and Women`s communities.

This needs to be addressed immediately, members of the National Institute of Health have been taking hair and nail samples for months, enough sampling already, get these folks and others help now, people need to be made aware of the effects of Corexit.

Hurricane Isaac Stirs up the Gulf and Bays

Hurricane Isaac has pummeled Louisiana, Alabama, Florida, and Mississippi, Oil from the BP Spill will be hitting the shores of Our Beaches. Submerged Oil Mats known as SOM`s will be breaking apart and relocating. These mats still consist of 17% crude oil.

If you see Oil on the Beaches or in the Bays we want to hear about it, and take pictures if you can.

We have spoken to many of you in the last day, we are sorry for your losses and our prayers are with you

October 1 Opt Out Date Extended to November 1

We have been advocating for an Opt Out date extension for sometime now we are glad to see it got done. This will give the Attorneys more time to see how their clients fit into the settlement. The DeepWater Horizon Settlement Fund should be able to provide a large amount of offers on claims submitted to provide a sample set, of what we can all expect in the mean time. This will help us all evaluate BP Claims and get a feel for what will fit into the BP Settlement and what will not, and that is about to happen.

Free BP Claims Evaluation

None of the Groups that we work with charge to evaluate your BP claims, there are no upfront charges, there are no extra costs in any way. They don`t get paid until you do. Our CPA and Adjuster groups charge 15%.

Attorneys traditionally charge 25%.

We will Help you with your BP Settlement.

BP Settlement News: Quick Pays and the Deadly Catch

BP Settlement News from the Gulf:     Shrimpers Stories

bp settlement  BP Settlement News from the Bayou. We have been hearing recently from shrimpers that are coming back in from the Gulf of Mexico and the Bays about the Health of the Gulf, the news is not good. Shrimp catches are down, way down. They are picking oil up in their nets more often then not. The shrimp and killfish they are finding in their nets have lesions, they are missing eye sockets, and they have a myriad of other issues.

The FDA says it`s fine to eat, we all know better. We have been told by numerous sources they just raised the testing levels of what is acceptable. The Shrimpers themselves have never seen anything like this in generations.

They are being forced to shrimp because many had taken Quick Pays, and it is the only hope of putting food on the table this year. The collapse of the Northern Gulf `s Seafood Industry can not be denied. If the BP Settlement does not address these issues, they in essence are forcing people to fish and exposing all of us to these deadly catches.

BP Settlement Quick Pays can still file Claims for VOO and Medical

If you took a Quick Pay or a final, you can still be a part of the VOO Settlement Class and the Medical Settlement Class under the BP Settlement. Many of you are sick but are attributing the High Blood Pressure to Stress and other factors. If you worked in the water or around the water during the Spring, Summer and Fall of 2010, odds are you are sick from the dispersant corexit and the oil.

There are tests that can help show this, one is called a Volatile Organic Compound Test, it measures the heavy metals in your body. If you are a fishermen, shrimper, crabber, and especially oystermen and clammer`s you need to go see a doctor.

We are hearing far to often of strokes and heart attacks, and are seeing a trend that is alarming. Many of you have not connected dots here. The BP Settlement can help you monetarily speaking, but you need to take the initiative when it comes to your health. The National Institute of Health is in the region taking hair, nail clippings and blood samples, they wouldn`t be there if it wasn`t serious.

The BP Settlement can only address so much, but the door is open if you took a Quick Pay to be a part of the BP Settlement for Medical and VOO Claims.

The BP Settlement and some random Thoughts

If the Northern Gulf goes into a full collapse, and experts are getting increasingly concerned about this, what do you think will happen to all the tourism. Owners of tourism and other related businesses please take note here. This will affect us all.

If the BP Settlement is to be fully utilized there needs to be some changes. First and foremost Quick Pays need to be addressed as soon as possible. You can not ask a man or a woman not to put food on the table for their families, if given the option of catching some tainted seafood, or their families starving, the choice is quite easy.

The BP Settlement needs to be proactive in its approach to paying people, especially paying those on the front lines. The BP Settlement should recognize the businesses that exist because of the Fishermen, Crabbers, Shrimpers and Oystermen, seafood processors and other assorted upstream businesses should receive higher multipliers if they choose to be a part of the BP Settlement.

BP Settlement and Multiple Claims

Many of you are entitled to multiple claims under the BP Settlement. Lets take for example a Fishermen that worked on the VOO Program who lives on the water.

If you have not taken a Quick Pay or a Final, you may be entitled to the following.

  • Economic Claims
  • VOO Claim
  • Medical Claim
  • Loss of Enjoyment Claim
  • Subsistence Claim

We will Help you with your BP Settlement and we will Help you if you choose not to settle, we have Licensed Claims Adjusters, and Attorneys that can and will help you. Their rates start at 7.5% for large loss claims over 1 million dollars. The standard rate is usually 15%.

We will Assist you with your BP Settlement and Beyond.

“The Big Lie” BP Claims Quick Pays

BP Claims and Seafood Harvesters

BP ClaimsWe have been hearing form a large number of Seafood Harvesters that took Quick Pays for their BP Claims, many of you were told it was an Interim payment when you were met at the dock by members of the GCCF. As we have been writing about this over the last few days, we have been hearing from many of you, and it seems that a pattern is developing, you were often met at your docks, and many of you were told the Quick Pays were Interim payments.

It almost seems the GCCF was targeting you all, because they knew that your BP Claims would eventually have the most value. Even if you were not targeted in such a manner, it is obvious that they did target Seafood Harvesters, crabbers, shrimpers, oystermen, and fishermen, when it came time dole out the Quick Pays, preying on the people that were most affected by the Oil Spill.

BP Claims Interims turned to Quick Pays                                      (a Little GCCF History Lesson)

If you all remember November 2010 when Mr. Feinberg took over we were all expecting people that were hurt by the Spill to start getting Interim BP Claims. What really happened was that they had another agenda and that was to get people to take BP Claims Quick Pays as the program was quickly rolled out by mid-December 2010, and NO or very few Interim Claims were being paid.

We did not even hear of an Interim Claim getting paid until mid April, and even after that they were few and far between. What does that mean, that means they had to have the Quick Pay Apparatus in play before Mr.Feinberg even took over the GCCF, they just didn`t tell us that part. Putting a BP Claims Quick Pay system in place takes more then a month, at least as far as I can tell, by judging  the History that we can now look at called the BP Claims Process.

So all that being said from November through April, and even long after that, that is 6 months plus people were either starved out or forced to take Quick Pays and that NEEDS to be addressed in the BP Settlement. It wasn`t till early February 2011  that Feinberg couldn`t call himself independent anymore, it took a Judges Order to get him to stop, at the very least anyone who took Quick Pays during the time Feinberg was calling himself independent deserves a second shot. Over 200,000 people and businesses took Quick Pays, if the BP Claims process was processing Interim Claims as they promised this would not have happened.

They pulled a fast one on all of us, they promised Interim Claims and gave us Quick Pays, and it is my strong belief backed up by their own actions this was deliberate. This needs to be handled within the terms of the BP Settlement, or it needs to be handled by The Court.

BP Claims Settlement and what to do next

If you have been impacted in such a manner we want to hear from you, we can`t do anything to help you if we don`t know who you are. We are Advocating that the members that are making up the BP Settlement include your claims into the settlement, especially the BP Claims Quick Pays from Seafood Harvesters. The BP Claims process was created with a clear bias to saving BP money and that needs to be handled now. If we can help you connect to BP Claims Attorneys or Consultants, even if you have been denied or never filed, or if you just want to be a part of our database so we can update you with news, please fill out the form to the right.

We will Help you with Your BP Claims.
